Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

About the Role

The Heart Failure ICU Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing critical care to patients with heart failure and related conditions.

Responsibilities

• Patient populations include VV/VA ECMO, Mechanical Circulatory Support, Heart Transplant, Lung Transplant, LVAD, Post-op Cardiac Surgery.
• WILL TRAIN ON DEVICES!

Qualifications

• AGACNP required.
• Current State of Texas license to practice professional nursing.
• BLS and ACLS.
• 2+ years of RN or NP Critical Care experience required, Cardiology experience preferred.
• New NPs MUST have 2+ years of Critical Care ICU RN experience.

Required Skills

• Critical care nursing skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

• Cardiology experience.
• Experience with advanced cardiac devices.

Pay range and compensation package

Pay: $120,000 to $145,000

Relocation assistance: up to $5,000

Generous PTO including personal days & a spiritual holidays.
